A moment in eternity

Still my favorite composed poem:

A Moment In Eternity

Starting from the day we are born to the day we die

The time limits are no more that a human lie

Because there’s actually no start or end, if from God we come

We are just creatures sent, though owners of ourselves, for some

We are given a choice, a try, to choose what’s already ours

The opportunity of life, the continuity of the eternal hours

Yes, there is life before birth and the same chance after death,

It’s not about this earth; it’s not about the last taken breath

There’s only one conclusion, one valid moment in time

The only solution to stay away from that thin line

Between loss and Salvation, between debt and Grace

For all that mercy and compassion for no optional race

Yes, the cost was very high; the final price was a Cross

The Man with the perfect life thought it was worth the loss,

For what He gained afterwards was truly deserved and still chose to share

With those who did not even deserved, and still dared to compare.

But we, His sons and daughters, are not from the world we live in

In His presence we’re always shuttered, protected and forgiven

Just remember and never forget, this is not a time or limit in infinity

If you understand you’ll never regret, because this is just a moment in eternity
